Four research topics: The History of Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest; Joyce Kilmer the Man; Literary Works of Joyce Kilmer; and Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest Today
Student will write down their first, second, third, and fourth choice of topics that they would like to research. The teacher will arrange groups were everyone will receive their first or second choice - six students per topic.
Students with vision problems-one of the simplest and frequently used accommodation is the capacity to change font size for those with poorer vision.

Procedures:

KWL Chart - The teacher will assess students' prior knowledge of Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest by using a KWL Chart. The teacher will write students statements on a Post-it chart. Questions the teacher will ask:

- What would you like to know about Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest?
- What did you learn about Joyce Kilmer Forest? (This question will be answered in conclusion lesson.)
Topics will be assigned to students.
The teacher will use a data projector to demonstrate research strategies.
The teacher will use a data projector to demonstrate how to view two windows at the same time. Students will be able to read information from the Web site they have accessed while, typing information into Word.
Students will go to the computer lab and research their topics.
Students will print their documents.
