PRODUCING MATERIAL DYES 1. Students will use library and technology resources to find various ways to "safely" dye cotton material. Several examples are listed below. 2. Students should make a list of all suggestions and decide which methods could be accomplished in class. 3. Each class of students should select a different method and attempt to produce as many material dyes as possible. 4. Do NOT attempt to make a dangerous product (such as poisonous substances or toxic fumes, etc.) or use a dangerous method to produce the product. |
